BECTU and the USW have the pleasure of inviting you to join us in a special screening of the film ‘Pride’ in the company of David Donovan (former miner / the Union BECTU’s National Officer for Wales) and Daryl Perrins, Lecturer at USW.

The story is based on the unique relationship built up between the National Union of Miners in the Swansea Valley and the Lesbian and Gay community in London at the time of the Miners Strike in the 80’s. One of the key activists at the NUM was David Donovan (played by Patrick Considine).
